I just picked my mother up from the airport. She had an uneventful flight, which is good. She is now settling into our spare bedroom that I set up for her. I am so glad that she’s going to be here to help me through this. Still it’s strange because I never thought that I’d be living with my mother at this stage in my life. I know that the circumstances are unique, but if someone would have told me four years ago when I got married and moved from Michigan to Arizona that I would be living with my mother again by the time I hit the age of thirty, I would have told them they were nuts. Of course, I could have never predicted, much less fathomed, these circumstances.
