I know that this is a gross subject, but I would really not be painting a truthful picture of chemotherapy if I didn’t include this issue. Chemo induces a constipation that puts to shame every other force of chemotherapy evil. The doctors told me that I am not to take laxatives, but I can take stool softeners. I eat these like candy. Still nothing. This isn’t good. Where do they go? It’s like my body is just absorbing everything and nothing ever comes out. I know that when the time is right however, The Gates will finally open. And then I’ll be sorry.
