Hello everyone! I want to thank you for taking the time to read my seemingly never-ending story. I also wanted to put this update here to let you all know that I am still here and still fighting. I’m going to finish my blog once and for all, I promise! (In fact if there are any literary agents out there looking for something fresh and new to publish, Email me!) So, please bookmark my page and keep checking back for the continuation of my Fight with Breast Cancer. Cheers! Karen

Hi Karen,
I just stumbled on this blog today. What an good writer you are! Your stories and descriptions are so entertaining.
I am in the midst of breast cancer treatment — had a mastectomy and six months of chemo, and now have herceptin and femara.
I hope that you and Michael are doing OK. I will be thinking of you and wishing you the best.

Hello Karen,
Thank you so much for telling your story… I have learned so much from your blog! One of my best friends just got diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, and today is her first day of chemotherapy. In two weeks her life has completely turned around, and I want to be there with her through all of this. You have given me hope, because I was starting to feel very anxious and afraid. She is 32 and her cancer is rare, but I know she will get through it. Please keep us updated on your health. I wish you all the best and anxiously await your updates! If there is anything you recommend I do for her please let me know.
All my best!

Hi Karen
Hi Karen
I found your blog this morning and have literally read it front start to finish…or least where you left off. I’m a breast cancer survivor myself. My younger sister is also a survivor.
You’ve done an incredible job of journaling your thought and prayers as you fight the good fight. I’ve added you to my Bloglines and hope you’ll keep us updated.
I’ll pray for you.
Here’s a poem I love:
DON’T QUIT
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low, and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don’t you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don’t give up though the pace seems slow,
You may succeed with another blow.
Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit,
It’s when things seem worse,
that you must not quit.
I’m not a quitter and I know you’re not either. You go girl!
Hugs!
Kat
